Katelyn + Mikayla | City Loft Chicago Wedding

Katelyn and Mikayla recently celebrated their love in a stunning winter wedding at City Loft in Chicago. Despite the chilly February weather, the day felt like the brink of spring, setting the perfect backdrop for their special day.

The festivities began as the couple got ready with their best friends, sharing laughter and anticipation. A private first look at the hotel provided an intimate moment before the ceremony. Their private vows were a testament to their sweet and enduring love before heading out to take formal photos.

Venturing to the Chicago River Walk for images, the couple, accompanied by a friend-turned-chauffeur, captured the beauty of the city and its architecture. The river provided a picturesque setting for some truly gorgeous shots.

While their ceremony wasn’t held in a traditional church, it was faith-forward, beautifully highlighting the couple’s shared beliefs. The ceremony was a lovely expression of their commitment to each other. City Loft provided a gorgeous setting.

Without a traditional wedding party, Katelyn and Mikayla took advantage of cocktail hour to capture photos with all their best friends who got ready with them their joyous day.

One of the most memorable moments of the reception was the unique “first dance” between Mikayla and her father. Instead of a traditional dance, they chose to toss around a football—a meaningful nod to something that held special significance for them.

The day was a perfect blend of love, faith, and personal touches that reflected the unique bond between Katelyn and Mikayla. As the evening unfolded, it became evident that their wedding was not just a celebration of union but a reflection of the things that matter most to them.
