Cat + Cory | Schlitz Audubon Nature Center Wedding

Cat and Cory, a couple deeply enamored with nature, picked the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center for their gorgeous May wedding. Set against the backdrop of this picturesque venue, their wedding was a testament to their shared love for exploration and the outdoors.

The ceremony unfolded in the center’s serene outdoor area, surrounded by the vibrant greenery of nature. Filled with heartfelt readings and a special blessing from parents and grandparents, the ceremony was a beautiful reflection of the couple’s commitment to each other.

Prior to the ceremony, the wedding party embarked on a delightful adventure to the beach, capturing joyous moments amidst the natural beauty. Despite the bright sunlight, the group found shaded spots, resulting in stunning images that radiated the happiness of the day. I especially love the images of Cat & Cory with their siblings, they were so fun!

The cocktail hour offered a unique touch with birds of prey from the Nature Center. Guests had the opportunity to learn about these majestic creatures, adding an educational and enchanting element to the celebration.

The evening continued with laughter-filled speeches during dinner, creating an atmosphere of joy. As the night progressed, the dance floor became a lively space, filled with energy and celebration.

One of the memorable moments of the evening was a brief escape with Cat and Cory for “sunset” images. Taking a moment before the dance floor festivities, the couple embraced the glow of their newly tied knot, creating intimate and timeless memories. Even if it isn’t true sunset I encourage couples to take a moment at the end of the day just for the two of them. They always make stunning images!

Cat and Cory’s wedding at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center was a perfect fusion of their love for each other and their appreciation for the natural world. As the photographer, it was a privilege to capture these moments that will undoubtedly become cherished memories in their journey together.
