Sarah + Osric | Sand Valley Winter Wedding

December at Sand Valley was the perfect backdrop for Sarah and Osric’s intimate winter wedding. Despite the chilly weather, their special day radiated warmth, love, and unforgettable moments that will be cherished for a lifetime.

The first looks between Sarah and Osric set the tone for a day filled with genuine emotion. Against the stunning backdrop of Sand Valley, their formal photos became timeless memories, capturing the essence of their love. Between the dunes, the lake, and the stunning architecture there were so many opportunities to capture some amazing images of these two. I loved playing with the shadows of the winter light – we captured everything from sweet and intimate, to dramatic and bold.

A visit to the resort’s bar added a touch of fun to the day as Sarah and Osric indulged in their favorite drinks. The inside joke of Osric’s preference for frilly drinks versus Sarah’s love for martinis showcased their playful dynamic and added a lighthearted element to the festivities.

The weather presented its challenges—windy and cold—but Sarah and Osric kept each other’s spirits up (and Osric kept the car running). So we captured only the warmth and joy of the day without letting the weather keep us down.

Personal touches made their mark on the day, from Osric’s specially requested cake to the beautiful florals that Sarah carried. What made the ceremony even more special was that it was officiated by none other than Sarah’s brother, adding a unique and personal touch to the celebration.

The celebration continued with an intimate dinner featuring heartfelt speeches that highlighted the couple’s journey. The family-style meal created a cozy atmosphere, fostering a sense of togetherness among the guests.
