Mallory + Lex | Boerner Botanical Gardens Elopement

Ohhhh you all know I love me a good elopement! Mallory and Lex’s incredibly sweet and small Boerner Botanical Gardens elopement was pure joy to be a part of.

Mallory and Lex are so adorably in love. They stole little kisses in between their giggles all day long. Lex is actually from Canada so they’ve been maintaining a long distance relationship. I could see the comfort and that feeling of “home” between them, certainly because being together always feels like home for them since they’re normally so far apart.

The theme of the day was “romantic enchanted forest.” If that doesn’t sound magical, I don’t know what does. We made it a point to stick to that theme with their locations and posing, capturing the love and romance between them in some of the pretty, secluded spots around the gardens.

I loved the personal touches that made their ceremony so special. They made their own hand fasting cord, which they used during the ceremony and again during photos in the middle of the forest. Also, Lex made his own jewelry, which was an awesome touch.
